World Famous Lover(2020)

As we all know that World Famous Lover had a grand worldwide release on 14 Feb 2020 which is nothing but on Valentine’s day

Well, as an avid admirer of Vijay Devarakonda, I went for the movie on the first day itself to see how my hero would create magic on the screen with four heroines.

Now Let’s have the vivid review of what the movie is all about by getting into the incites!

Plot:

Gautam(Vijay Devarakonda), an orphan student as well as an aspiring writer falls in love with Yamin(Raasi Khanna)at first sight and eventually, she fell for him as both are pursuing MBA in the same college.

Gautam always aspires to become a writer at any cost so that he does not show interest in attending placements programme but Yamini pushes him to attend interviews as he is the only bread-earner for himself.

So, after getting jobs duo went to Yamini’s father who is a very rich business tycoon to reveal their relationship to him. As usual, he denies it as Gautam is an orphan as well as he’s an average settled guy.

So, Gautam and Yamini decide to be in live-in-relationship as she doesn’t want to debunk his father’s name in front of society.

so, everything goes well until Gautam resigned his job after a year where he doesn’t want to give up his passion and dreams by being stuck at mundane 9–5 job. Yamini too bolstered his decision but later circumstances went uncontrolled as Gautam does not keep up his words during the whole year. Having vexed up with his attitude, Yamini broke up with him one fine day.

Then what did Gautam do to get back to her? Did he ever become a writer? What is the nexus between Seenayya and Suvarna story to Gautam? Why Iza on the scene as a girlfriend when there is a serious relationship between Gautam and Yamini? forms the rest of the story!

Analysis

Yes, the director Kranthi Madhav who is well-known for his previous hit movie Malli Idi Rani Roju made one impressive script but he fails to strike the chord between beginning and end of the story. He himself blemish the storyline by keeping Paris episode which almost looks facade as well as artificial

Seriously, I went to the movie with mild expectations and this film didn’t even manage to meet that!

One and only episode that the audience connects with is Suvarna-Seenayya- Catherine’s. Though it’s a fabricated story manage to grab the attention with dialogues as well performances, especially with Aishwarya Rajesh(Suvarna), ’s one.

Raasi Khanna, a crying baby in the film did well in Yamini’s role but highly disappointed role ever she took.

Izabelle, another fictitious character but suits well in that pilot role.

Vijay-Devarakonda utterly disappoints the audiences by choosing this substandard script but manages to live in the character Gautam. At some point in time, we felt some Arjun reddy shades in him.

Gopi-Sundar’s Music, as well as the soulless background score, is one of the biggest drawbacks for this film.

This is just another angle of “love-Aaj-Kal” story believes me or not! The funny thing to note here is “love-Aaj-Kal 2” released on the same day along with this movie. So, its a bumper offer for the audience to watch similar stories on the same day!

Review

As an audience, I do not recommend people to go for this movie as this is purely a waste of time what we can say a crap

Hope Vijaydevarakonda comes with matured and classy content in his upcoming venture

All the best Rowdy for future projects!
