Tollywood’s Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest flick “ SARILERU NIKEVVARU” Review
“SARILERU NEEKEVVARU“ was one of the much-awaited movies in the Tollywood as it has arrived on the occasion of Pongal where avid movie-goers were struggling to get a movie ticket for the whole family to watch and the ones who got tickets flaunted those in social media circles as it wasn’t that easy to get them.
keep it aside for a while, let’s get into the story briefly!
Ajay Krishna(Mahesh Babu), an unwavering hard-core army major who serves at Kashmir border where Ajay(Satya Dev), another uncompromising soldier, got posting recently. He is the second son of Bharati(Vijayashanti) who lost her elder son in the army, despite the huge loss, she sent him to serve the nation.
Bharati is one of the upright professors in medical college who lives with her two daughters along with her widow daughter-in-law in Kurnool where elder one got engaged and waiting for the knot. For that occasion, they are eagerly waiting for Ajay’s arrival.
Coming to Ajay Krishna, though he is a blue-eyed soldier but an orphan who craves for family’s love. One day his team devised a plan to bring back children who are under the threat of enemy camps. During this operation, Ajay effected badly with severe injuries on the battlefield and undergoing treatment in an unconscious state.
But Ajay has to attend the sister’s wedding at his home but he couldn’t as he is undergoing treatment in an unconscious state so officials thought that they should send one of their soldiers to his residence to look after his sister’s wedding as well as to inform the news regarding his condition to the family post-wedding
That’s how Ajay Krishna comes into the picture where he set off to Kurnool(residence of Ajay) along with another soldier Prasad(Rajendra Prasad). There he meets Samskruti(Rasmika Mandanna) who is ready to runway from the train with the help of her mother and two sisters to escape from the match that her father had fixed. But she changed her mind and enter into the train right after she met with Ajay Krishna, where she had love at first sight.
By the time he reached Kurnool, Ajay’s family disappeared at home and it’s a chaotic and suspicious environment where they are trying to flee from the city to save the life from the goons who have been hunting them incessantly. Untowardly, they caught by the goons and on the verge of going to meet hell within a few minutes. That’s when Ajay Krishna found the family and protect them by singlehandedly thrashing the goons.
Now why Bharati’s family has stuck under threat, who is the person behind the attack and how Ajay Krishna mollifies the chaotic environment and solves the problems in Bharati’s family forms the rest of the story
coming to the review, I have two perceptions in my mind regarding the movie.
Firstly, it satiated the family audience as it has comedy, emotions, fights, songs, message, etc., what not everything but on the other hand, I disappointed with some elements like the mundane script, old formula, one-man show, illogical comedy, unwanted stunts, baseless heroine, etc.,
Coming to the director Anil Ravipudi who made the script only to highlight Ajay Krishna (Mahesh babu) character in all aspects like comedy, fighting, acting, sentiment, mass dance, etc., but he limits himself to the old formula though he stresses the importance of army.
One thing I liked in his direction that he generates comedy with all his characters in the film even with the villain gang.
For the veteran actress Vijayashanti, a perfect come back film where she quintessentially suitable for the role of honest professor cum patriotic mother but I felt that her character designed in a way to elevate and praise Maheshbabu’s character sometimes.
There is nothing much to talk about Rashmika’s character in the film as her sole purpose is to get married to AjayKrishna at any cost
Rashmika’s mother character played by Sangeeta has received well among the audience especially the train episodes went hilarious
Devisriprasad music rocks but not in peaks when compared to other films.
Shekar master composition was too good especially for the mind-block and dang-dang songs.
Overall, Sarileru Neekevvaru is a one-time watchable film that was made only for hard-core Mahesbabu fans.
